So Far..

In our Journalism class the most important thing that we have learned, in my opinion, has been how to identify the different parts of a news article. I don't feel like the most interesting parts of class were what we learned, but what we are able to do. I feel like the activities like going on line and playing games and writing blogs, are good ways to help us learn how to become journalists. What I find the most important thing that us as students need to remember is that journalists need facts. They need to put only facts in their articles and attract readers to follow the story.

I hope to continue learning about different ways to present an article. I would also like to learn how to respond to a blog and giving mostly facts and a little of my opinion. This is going to be a tough task for me because I usually give a lot of my opinion all the time. I would like to continue playing the games on the Internet because I feel that it really showed us that we may have to go back to the same source three or four times, even if the source gets mad, to get every piece of information that we could possibly get. Finally, I would like to continue bringing in news articles of
"Breaking News" once a week. It helps us learn to follow the news more and not be in "our own world" and realize what is going on outside of our homes.
